Curtis on Tour, the Nina von Maltzahn global touring initiative of the Curtis Institute of Music, offers audiences the rare opportunity to hear celebrated artists performing alongside the stars of tomorrow. Led by Curtis President and renowned violist Roberto Díaz, their Reading program showcases a fabulous variety of compositions, including a world premiere by acclaimed opera composer Rene Orth, whose work has been described as “…surprising and engaging, alternating a delicate classical feel with experiments in sound and texture.”
