A one-day immersion for High School String players
On February 24, 2024 Friends of Chamber Music partnered with Kutztown University’s Music Department to host a one-day immersion event for high school students.
19 High School and Junior High students, and 2 college students gathered on the Kutztown University campus for seven hours of rehearsing, coaching, and concertizing under the guidance, encouragement, and inspiration of a quartet of Doctoral candidates from SUNY Stony Brook that included Berks County’s own Stephanie Bonk. Thanks to everyone who worked to make this a joyous success! We’re already looking forward to next year.
