A one-day immersion for High School String players

friends of chamber high school day

High school string players are invited to attend our 4th Annual Chamber Music with Friends: a one-day chamber music immersion experience hosted in collaboration with Kutztown University’s Music Department. The event is designed for high school string students interested in developing their ensemble skills and gaining a deeper understanding of chamber music.

Participating students are placed in chamber ensembles and assigned a piece to prepare for the festival. Each ensemble is paired with a dedicated coach who meets with the students remotely in advance of the event, providing suggestions and guidance for individual and ensemble practice. Students who already perform together as an established ensemble are also welcome to participate and receive coaching.

Applications will be available in November.
